When meeting someone there are a number of different processes that take place as we establish a memory of that person. That memory is made up of a mental and physical perception of that person in how they acted, talked, choice of words etc. In terms of knowing who I am, I must first ask the question who am I? What makes me unique, what can I offer you as a person, why do you know me, what is our story and  among many other questions - who are you to me?

My name is Jack William Chester. I was born on the 21st November 1994 in Townsville, my parents  are Jason Paul Chester and Julie Fay Petrofski. In life I believe we all are entitled to a standard amount of rough and nasty experiences, some get more than others and some less. But in the end it probably doesn't matter what happens to you, it's how you get back up when life knocks you down and how you change through those struggles to become a more vibrant and understanding person. I could go into detail about how horrible and unfair my life has been, blame people for whats happened and sulk in a corner; and believe me I have, but the only person who will be hurting and unhappy will be me. So instead of telling you in detail about my past I will give you a light overview and let you see me through my blogs who I am.

I have brown and yellow eyes, dark straight hair, lots of freckles and am about 180cm tall. I have my Mumma Cynie's Eyes, my dads feet and calves, my great grandma's wide hips and stocky build and my mums hair. I was born in Townsville, my parents divorced  when I was three and I moved to Longreach with my mum. Both of my parents have remarried. My father married Toni and they have five children Sarah, Aidan, Emily, Tom and Grace along with Sarah's three children Cohen, William and Cooper. Mum married Ashley and have three children Riley, Minnie and Hannah. And of course I fit into both families.                     I attended Our Lady's School for primary school and then Longreach State High School  where I started to do well at school, found good freinds and started to find and create an identity for myself. Throughout this time there are many things I wish I had done differently, that I  had been more accepting, relaxed, loving, wiser, kinder  and tried new things sooner. But then I might not be the person I am today, so the only thing I can do is learn from my mistakes and strive to be a better person through Jesus who is my inspiration and strength.

Some of my interests are...

I love art, and I have fallen in love with art through years of school with painting. You can see some of my work in the portfolio section. I have experimented and used oil, acrylic and water colour.                            My biggest mentor would have to be Michelle Ho who has opened so many doors and ways of thinking and using art to express yourself. So a big thanks to her for that and for just being awesome.

I am a christian and proud of it. I am learning so much about God and am growing so much in my faith.    My relationship with God is becoming stronger than ever and am seeing him touch my life in so many ways that I am loosing my fear of life. We all stumble, fall face first and even jump into sin, but God is always there to pick us up and show a more fulfilling path.  I sometimes feel like a toddler who keeps messing things up and there is God  making it all good again. For the foundation of my strong faith from such a young age I thank my Mumma, Mum and Ashley for instilling it in my heart.

I have had some awesome fun in Longreach with my freinds from school and church. The shed party's, spotlight, scary movies that nearly killed me (Zombie land), group projects for school that turned into chill times, the river, youth group, the movies, the Romeo and Juliet play for school, the song discovering game, camps and more. It has been so much fun and I have so many great freinds who are all awesome in their own ways. So I thank you all for including me in the fun, I couldn't have asked for a better bunch of people to grow up with.

It's funny trying to talk about yourself so I hope I have shown you a bit about myself. If you have other questions or suggestions to make my blogging better you can send me a question and I'll do my best to answer it and improve.
